Paal Kova
Cooking time – 40 minutes
Ingredients
Milk – 1
liter
Sugar – ½
Cup
Cardamom
powder – 1 tsp
Procedure
- Pour the milk in a heavy bottom pan.
- Allow boiling on low flame
for 40 minutes and keep stirring every 5 minutes. Inner side of the pan will be
covered with a creamy layer. scrap the cream into the milk.
- Now the quantity of the milk
will reduce to half and the colour will change into pale yellow.
- This is the time for non-stop stirring till the final process.
- When it starts thickening add sugar and cardamom powder to the milk and
keep stirring.
- Switch off the flame and transfer into a greased tray, if you want to
cut in a desired shape.
- Add nuts if required.
- Cool it and store it in air-tight container in refrigeration.
